Heavy Rain Trickles
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has stormed to the top of the UK All-Format sales chart after a successful first week. Released last Friday, Bad Company 2 enjoyed most of its success on the Xbox 360 where sales on the format accounted for 53% of its total shifted units. PS3 sales accounted for 31% while the remaining 16% came from PC versions. Heavy Rain was knocked from last week's number one perch and slipped to fourth position while Just Dance Climbed to 2nd.
Aliens vs. Predator dropped a single place to third and the stand out performer was Assassins Creed II. The multi-format title sat in 31st position but thanks to it's PC release last week, it jumped up to 14th. Other notable performances came from Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing which climbed from 8th to 5th and Supreme Commander 2 which took its new entry status to 23rd. On the weekly Modern Warfare 2 update, Infinity Ward's record breaking title has slipped to 7th but credit to it for still remaining in the top 10. Here is the top 10 chart in full.
